Dorset Women's Day 2021: Zoom into Wellbeing

You are warmly invited to Dorset Women’s Day 2021!

Things have been difficult for all of us recently, and looking after our own wellbeing has never been more important. So, this year we decided to theme our 2021 Dorset Women’s Day event all around wellbeing and self-care, taking place VIRTUALLY for the first time! We also hope to raise funds for a fantastic charity called the Shine Project.

On Saturday 6th March WAND will be offering a jam-packed programme of relaxing, fun, wellness-based sessions, which also give us the chance to connect with one another and maybe even learn something new.

Download the full workshop programme here. **

We’ll also be creating a collaborative playlist of empowering, joyful songs by women artists as a way of celebrating women’s musical talents – please do send us your submissions. Although we can’t dance together this year, we can stick the playlist on at home and boogie away in our living room!

As mentioned above, we will be fundraising for the Shine Project with this event. The Shine Project does some amazing work with teen girls across Dorset, designed to improve physical and mental health, self-esteem and confidence, and to encourage young women to believe that they are valuable.

We suggest a £3 donation per person per workshop attended during Dorset Women’s Day, but please donate whatever amount you are able to or join us without making a donation if necessary – all will be welcome and included regardless. Visit our GoFundMe page to make a donation.

We’re SO thrilled to be hosting our first virtual Dorset Women’s Day event, and can’t wait to see you there – so please do save the date! The full programme will be posted ASAP.

**This is our first time hosting a virtual Dorset Women’s Day – please do bear with us in the event of any technical hitches, we will of course try to minimise these as far as possible
